Indoor Swimming Pool

Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre – Splash Pass 

Swinburne students can access aquatic facilities at Hawthorn Aquatic and Leisure Centre at a discounted rate. Located across Glenferrie Road, students can purchase a 10-swim Splash Pass for $30.15, with no ongoing fees or contracts.

Community Sports Clubs 

Swinburne partners with a range of local community sports clubs, offering students opportunities to get involved in competitive and social sport.

The Swinburne Amateur Football Club is affiliated with the Victorian Amateur Football Association (VAFA). Established in 1995, the club is based near Swinburne’s Hawthorn campus and plays home games at St James Park, Hawthorn. Teams compete in Division 4 of the VAFA, with matches held on Saturdays from April to September. Pre-season training begins in November.

Swinburne FC is a long-standing, player-led grassroots football club providing students with opportunities to play competitive soccer. Based at Howard Dawson Reserve, Glen Iris, the season runs from April to September, with training on Tuesday and Thursday evenings and matches played on Sundays.
