Description: We’re looking for bright Swinburne leaders who are looking to gain hands-on experience to support the SSA to deliver our exciting campus events and programs including Breakfast and Foodbank. You’ll gain access to flexible shift opportunities and gain invaluable experience on your resume during your time at uni.

Hourly Rate: $34.95 per hour (as of 1 July 2026)

We advise that only currently enrolled Swinburne students are eligible for this employment opportunity.

FoodHub Program

The FoodHub Program runs from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, Monday to Thursday, providing free pantry items to students in need. You’ll gain real-world experience in coordination, logistics, and service delivery skills that translate directly into professional workplace environments.

Breakfast Program

Lead the delivery of our daily Breakfast Program, serving free morning meals across campus to help students start their day right. Operating from 7:30am to 10:30am, Monday to Friday, this role develops your ability to manage high-paced environments, engage with diverse audiences, and work efficiently as part of a team

Events and Activation Program

Help bring Swinburne campus to life every Wednesday with our range of interactive events, cultural celebrations, and awareness campaigns. Our weekly events typically run from 11:00am to 2:00pm each Wednesday, giving you hands-on exposure to event operations, setup, and public engagement—ideal for anyone looking to explore communications, marketing, or event management.
