The Overall Club of the Year Award, presented as part of the SSA Student Life Awards, recognises the most outstanding club across all four Club of the Year categories:
Academic
Cultural and Spiritual
Social
Sports
No separate nomination is required for this award. Only the winners of the four Club of the Year categories will be considered.
Your club must demonstrate:

Good governance and teamwork
A meaningful contribution to the Swinburne community

Varied and engaging membership offering
1. How has your club developed and delivered a varied and engaging calendar of events and activities, and engaged members in achieving the club’s mission and goals?
Good governance and teamwork
2. Describe a challenge your club worked through this year and how the committee used teamwork and collaboration to succeed.
3. What are the committee’s major learnings from this year, and how will these shape the club’s approach over the next 12 months?
Meaningful contribution to the Swinburne community
4. How has your club contributed to meaningful outcomes for the Swinburne or wider community? Please describe the impact.
Selection Process
The overall winner will be selected from the four category winners and recognised for delivering an outstanding member experience, demonstrating strong governance and teamwork, and making a meaningful contribution to the Swinburne community.
The winner will be announced and celebrated at the SSA Student Life Awards Night.
