Volunteer with SSA – ATO Tax Help Program

This initiative supports Swinburne students who need assistance lodging their individual tax returns.

Volunteers will assist eligible students with:

​

  1. Creating a myGov account.

  2. Linking their myGov account to the Australian Taxation Office (ATO).

  3. Lodging their individual tax return.

​

Eligibility Criteria

​

To apply, you must:

  1. Be a current Swinburne University of Technology student.

  2. Be studying Accounting, Business Services, or a related business discipline with a financial background.

  3. Have been an Australian resident for at least two years.

  4. Have an interest in volunteering and assisting fellow Swinburne students with basic tax return support.
